Distillation is the act of separation of the more volatile parts of a substance from those less volatile by vaporising and subsequently condensing the essence of any thing.
To the fermentation chamber of the Sphere of the Zodiac
I add Athena, Thoth, Amoun, Budda and Janus.
Steeping them in a solution of amaranth, musk and man
I apply a controlled moderate heat until they ferment.
I draw off the liquor, into the retort of the inner robe of glory
where I increase the temperature until gassification occurs.
The volatile fumes are driven through the fractionating column of the Lord of Harmonious Change,
where the base elements of the gods are caught in the pydrogen trap
and carried into the sump of extraction.
The purest elements enter the condenser of the Lord of Peace Restored,
whereupon the vapours cool,
returning to their preferred state,
infusing this magnet with the pure soft blue essence of wisdom.
